Grant & Grant Design Group is an award-winning, nationally acclaimed design firm specializing in single family residential architecture. Principal designers Bill & Tim Grant are a father and son collaboration and have numerous high-end homes throughout the Southeast. They are currently working on custom home designs in Cashiers/Highlands North Carolina area, as well as in exclusive mountain communities such as “The Cliffs at Walnut Cove.” 

Bill began his home design company in 1984 in the metropolitan Atlanta area. In 1988, after winning “Best in Show” for his Cape Cod design entry in Atlanta’s Street of Dreams. To date Bill has provided custom home designs for clients as far west as California and as far east as the coast of South Carolina. 

Bill’s house designs have been featured in over 50 publications including “American Dream Homes”, Better Homes & Gardens “Special Interests Publications”, “THE BEST OF” Better Homes & Gardens HOME PLANS (cover), Pinnacle Living and many more. 

In 2003, Bill’s son Tim joined the firm, introducing a fresh, new perspective on “mountain home design”. In 2006, Tim’s skill as a conceptual home designer earned Grant & Grant the “Designers Choice” award in the 56th annual American Institute of Building Design’s design competition. Bill lives in Brevard, North Carolina, in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Tim makes his home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
