I designed and built this house in the early nineties, it was finished in 1992. It is energy efficient with the 2 x 6 exterior walls and thick R-30 roof insulation. No trusses used in the roof, means no crane needed to build. Aside from some help with a few specialty trades, I built the entire house single handedly, in about one year. It has a underground propane tank for cooking, water heating and clothes drying. The 3rd floor loft (10 x 12) makes a great office space. Three outdoor decks and a 2 car garage.
