Greek Revival house plan inspired by the “Dunleith” original home, Natchez, MS – circa 1856
A simple box in design, but grand in appearance. This stately colonnade has a total of 26 Doric columns surrounding the home. It includes full porches on the first and seconds floors that wrap around the entire house. With four floor levels, this house plan has plenty to expand and grow. An elevator makes traveling from the basement to the second floor a breeze. From the second floor you can take the stairs to the fourth floor (attic) to make use of this space as storage, entertaining, or whatever you heart desires. The full basement has a theater room, hobby room, full bar, billiards, and entertainment room. The main floor has a formal living and dining, office, kitchen, breakfast, and family room. The second floor has four bedrooms including the master, all with private bathrooms.
Fun Facts: The original Dunleith was featured in the James Brown biopic “Get on Up” in 2014.

Kirya J. Duncan is the principal Building Designer and founder of Design Evolutions Inc., GA. A native of Natchez, Mississippi where he graduated from North Natchez High School in 1989. After high school, Kirya attended Hinds Community College, in Raymond Mississippi. There, he studied Architectural Drafting and Design Technology at Hinds Community College, in Raymond Mississippi. The following year, Kirya transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg, MS) and majored in Architectural Engineering. In August of 1995, Kirya moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He worked in the residential design field for nearly four years. During that time, he worked on custom homes for clients that included fortune 500 company executives, music entertainers (Kelly Price, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas) and pro athletes. Kirya has over 20 years of experience in the field of residential design and planning. After four years of gaining work knowledge, Kirya started Design Evolutions Inc., GA as a result of that experience. It has been over two decades and we are still producing quality stock plans and custom home designs. We look forward to producing design work many more years into the future.
